Zalman M. Schacter Shalomi z”l Collection

The Zalman M. Schachter-Shalomi Collection forms the core of a larger Jewish Renewal Archives at the University of Colorado. This collection includes personal papers, manuscripts, publications, as well as a wealth of audio and visual materials. Important subjects and categories within the collection include: Jewish Renewal and Jewish Spiritual Practice, Hasidism and Kabbalah, Deep Ecumenism and Psychology of Religion, Spiritual Ecology and Spiritual Eldering, and Schachter-Shalomi’s unique theory of Paradigm Shift. All of these materials also provide insight and historical background on the Jewish Renewal Movement as seen through the lens of Schachter-Shalomi, the founder and inspiration of the movement.
